I grew up in British Columbia, Canada, so was surrounded by beauty everywhere I went. I have always loved photography & photos. My dad was also a keen photographer so I’ve been around cameras my whole life, really getting into it in high school. I moved to the UK to study, eventually training to become a veterinary surgeon at a college in Hertfordshire. It was my vet training which brought me to Jersey (caring for our beautiful dairy cows).

I met my now husband during one of these placements in Jersey and so began a long two years of weekend visits, over in flash & leaving me pining for some stability. I would photograph all of our dates, walks, and cosy nights in so I could reminisce when I was back at college doing the overnight shift looking after colic horses. These treasured memories got me through a tough time and ever since I have been drawn to the power of photography.

A lot has happened since then. We’ve got engaged, married (twice actually - don’t ask), and had a gorgeous little boy who fills my life with love and laughter. All of these moments and many more are captured on film, either by me or by one Jersey’s other incredible professional photographers.

I’m endlessly drawn to the joy that photography captures; the candid looks, the unsurpassed giggles, the adoring cuddles. Getting these on film brings me deep happiness and I love giving that feeling to my clients.
